Win Arsenal Tickets & Meet a Footballing Legend!

You could win 2 tickets to the Arsenal v. Everton match at Arsenal's home ground, the Emirates Stadium, on Saturday 9th January 2010.

If you're chosen as the lucky winner, you'll not only receive match tickets for yourself and a friend, but you’ll also get to meet Arsenal legend, Bob Wilson OBE, allowing you a fantastic opportunity for photos and to get personal autographs to take away as long-lasting memories of your day.

Bob Wilson signed as goalkeeper for Arsenal in 1963. He made more than 300 first-team appearances, helping the Gunners win the European Fairs Cup in 1970 and one-year later the coveted League Championship and FA Cup ‘double’, for which he won Arsenal’s Player of the Year. He also became the first English born player to be capped for Scotland.

Following his successful footballing career, Bob was one of the first sports personalities to make the transition into television. He became a leading presenter for BBC Sport, fronting Football Focus, Grandstand and Match of the Day for twenty years before moving to ITV in 1994 as their main football presenter. Throughout his television career he remained connected to his footballing roots on the pitch as he became the first specialist goalkeeping coach in Britain, working with his beloved Arsenal (along with several other top clubs), to train the likes of Pat Jennings, Jon Lukic and David Seaman.

Note: This prize does not include travel to, or from, the Emirates Stadium. The winner will be drawn at random on Monday 9th November 2009 and will be notified via the email address supplied, no later than Saturday 14th November.

Winner:
Dean Barker from Mallorca, Spain
